The pelvic floor is the muscle hammock at the base of your pelvis. It's one of the main components of your core structure and when experiencing dysfunction, can lead to incontinence, pain, muscle spasms, and other health concerns. Dysfunction can be caused by delivering a baby or high impact sports like basketball, tennis and horseback riding.

Everyone can benefit from conditioning the pelvic floor, as it can help prevent dysfunction and help eradicate the symptoms if you are experiencing it. 

Here are three exercises you can do at home without props to tone the deep abdominals and condition the pelvic floor.
